Confession: Let the Light In

What dwells in the darkness dominates you.  In the light, you can live free again.

El video en Español viene pronto....

Lent is an excellent time to participate in the Sacrament of Reconciliation.  It is a sacrament of healing, and a time to encounter the mercy and love of our Heavenly Father.  This Lent, take some time to reflect on this sacrament and how Christ invites us to Let the Light In, and experience the healing power of forgiveness and love.

Additional times have been added to the regular confession schedule to make this sacrament more available during the Lenten season:

Mondays (Sacred Heart Cathedral): 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Tuesdays: 5:00 p.m.-6:30 p.m.

Fridays: 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Saturdays 11:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. & 3:30 p.m.- 4:30 p.m.

Parish Reconciliation Service will be Monday, March 31st 6:30 p.m.

Are you a young adult in the COLG community?

Want to connect with other 20 and 30 somethings in the parish?

Connect with the Young Adult Ministry at COLG!  Young Adult Ministry offers fun, social events each month as well as opportunities to grow in our Catholic faith from week to week.

This group is for all 20 and 30 somethings, single or married.  Many of us moved to Dodge City from other parts of the country and this has been a great way to get involved at the parish and meet new friends.  We hope you'll join us!

Visit our Young Adult Page for a listing of upcoming events and weekly discussion groups!

There are many ways that we can continue to grow in our faith throughout the year.  Whether it is doing things such as making the commitment to pray together as a family, attending daily mass, doing acts of service in the community, or sharing our Catholic faith with others, each day is a new opportunity to draw closer to God and to share His love with others.

Here in the parish we offer many Adult Formation groups and activities throughout the year to help us in our faith journeys.  Be sure to visit the Adult Formation page for a listing of all groups and meeting times.  You can also visit the Diocesan Pastoral Ministry Formation site for information on other classes that are available to learn more about our Catholic faith.
