Students entering pre-school must be four years old to attend class and students entering kindergarten must be five years old on or before August 31st, 2017. Formal developmental screening for both pre-schoolers and kindergartners takes place in the summer of the year prior to entry. The screening is done at school and the results will be shared with parents.
Students entering grades other than pre-school or kindergarten will be considered for admission to Sacred Heart Cathedral Catholic School after a thorough review of prior educational records, including report cards, standardized testing and educational/psychological testing. Due to limited class size, siblings are given priority for acceptance, followed by parishioners and non-parishioners.
