Pre-Baptism instruction is designed to enable the members of each baptism team (Parents and Godparents) to live a good Christian example which edifies, strengthens and sanctifies the newly born child of God. The same basic syllabus is offered in English and Spanish. A total of 4 hours of instruction (2 classes) is required to complete the course. The instruction is based on Holy Scripture, Christian Tradition and Divine Revelation as experienced within the Church.

Parents who would like to have their children baptized must interview with Deanna Jones or a priest of the parish before attending the required two pre-baptismal classes.  Please call the parish office to schedule an appointment. 

Godparents should be practicing Catholics who, if they are married persons, must be in a Church-approved marriage.  Godparents are also required to attend two pre-baptismal classes.

Ambos padres necesitan tener una entrevista con Deanna Jones o uno de los sacerdotes antes de ir a las dos platicas requeridas.  Puede llamar a la oficina de la parroquia para hacer una cita. 

Recuerda: Los padrinos deben ser Católicos practicantes de su fe y si están casados, que estén en un matrimonio aprobado por la Iglesia.  También los padrinos deben asistir a dos pláticas pre-bautismales.  

El cupo para bautizar es limitado, aparte su fecha con tiempo y solamente después de que estén terminados todos los requisitos
