In June, 2011 the parish youth took a mission trip to Cortez, CO. They worked at a Kid's Club and painted a house.  The dates for the 2012 trip will be June 24 - 30. You can get more information and a registratio form at the parish office.  A $60 deposit is due by Nov. 2nd.

The next TEC weekend is Mar 10-12, 2012. The registration deadline is Mar. 2.

The Cathedral youth ministry staff will be happy to provide transportation to and from the retreat.

Did you know..... Sharing groups for grades 8 thru 12 meet at the Cathdral on two Wednesday nights throughout the month?  We stress the four F's - food,  friends, fellowship and faith sharing at these meetings.  If you're not a part of a group you are welcome to check one out.  Just check the weekly bulletin  under "High Sharing Group Activities" for the next date and we always start at 7 p.m.  

Pray As You Go - Youths and young adults are some of the busiest people in the world, so it can be hard to find time for prayer. Fortunately, the Jesuits in Great Britain have a solution for you. Click on the link for "Pray As You Go," and you'll be taken to a great website where you can download short guided meditations for your portable mp3 player. It doesn't get much better than having prayers on your Ipod, and you can create a prayerful environment for yourself during those few spare minutes during your day.

Teens Encounter Christ - Teens Encounter Christ is a powerful spiritual movement for youth. Check out the link for the TEC Conference to learn about the history, spirituality, and communities of TEC. Then, when you've had a chance to look it over, you can sign up for TEC #39 in Garden City from March 10-12, 2012.
