Well, it's been a relaxing summer so far. I hope yours has been, too. Kurt and I are expecting our first child in September, so I've been working to get the classroom and lesson plans ready ahead of time for my long-term sub to have the best experience as I will take my maternity leave early on in the school year. Since I can't work at the body shop (paint fumes no bueno por la bebe), I've also been taking a graduate course through FHSU to continue my education. It's been very informative and I believe it will assist me in helping my students achieve their highest potential.
This will be my 6th year of teaching and I'm greatly looking forward to meeting the new crew. I've got interactive reading, engaging math, hands-on science, and intriguing religion and social studies lessons planned for the upcoming school year. I'm just so excited to be teaching at Sacred Heart for my third year. The students, families and my coworkers are all the best of the best and make this Catholic School a real, honest, caring community that I'm honored to be a part of.
I want to encourage you to share your Sacred Heart story with friends, family and acquaintances, whether you attended as a child or your children attend now, so we can grow our SHCCS family and continue to see quality education coupled with faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and God Most High.
Bless you all,
3rd Grade Teacher <3
