We congratulate you for desiring to baptize your child! The celebration of Baptism is an important event in the life of your family, this community, and the Church. In order to prepare for this beautiful and memorable celebration, we invite you to open walk in baptism registration sessions. During this meeting we will inform you of the preparation steps and how to schedule the baptism date. If you can bring a copy ( or the original and we can make a copy) of your child's birth certificate or announcement of live birth from the hospital, that would be a great help to us! Part of the preparation for the sacrament includes two pre-baptismal classes for both you and the godparents, which can be taken after the initial meeting. In order to ensure that the parents and godparents have enough time to complete the preparation process, we encourage you to attend our open baptism interview sessions at least 2-3 months before the date you would like to baptize. Both parents are asked to come to an initial appointment before attending classes to discuss the Sacrament of Baptism and review the preparation requirements. Please bring the child’s birth certificate to the meeting. Scheduling Baptisms: Baptism date can only be set once the parents and godparents have completed the pre-baptismal preparation. Bienvenidos a la Preparación Bautismal Le felicitamos por desear bautizar a su hijo/a. La celebración del bautismo es un acontecimiento importante en la vida de su familia, esta comunidad, y la Iglesia. Con el fin de prepararse para esta celebración hermosa y memorable, le invitamos a ponerse en contacto con la oficina para hacer una cita. Durante esta reunión, le informaremos de los pasos de preparación y de cómo programar el bautismo de su hijo. Parte de la preparación para el sacramento incluye dos clases pre - bautismales para que tanto usted como los padrinos, puedan tomar después de la cita inicial. Con el fin de garantizar que los padres y padrinos tienen el tiempo suficiente para completar el proceso de preparación, les animamos a atender a su cita inicial por lo menos 2-3 meses antes de la fecha de bautizar.
