The School Council serves in an advisory capacity to the pastor and the principal. The council assists in planning and evaluating school policies and programs. Nominations to serve on the school council are taken during the annual parish stewardship renewal process in November of the current school year. Members serve a three year term.

Meetings of the School Council

Section 1: The School Council shall meet bi-monthly. Special meetings may be called by the president as needed.

Section 2: All meetings of the School Council shall be open to members of COLG parish and to the parents of children attending SHCCS.
A person wishing to address the council must contact the principal at least one week prior to the meeting to be placed on the agenda. Visitors may not be present when the council is in Executive Session.

Section 3: A written record of all acts of the School Council shall be maintained by the secretary and shall be preserved in the principal’s office.
